Saxophonist, Jay Singleton, was born and raised in Miami, Florida Jay began playing saxophone at the age of 12 and music immediately captured his heart. He later attended Florida A&M and Florida State Universities where received degrees in music. Jay continues to share his God given talent with audiences throughout Florida and the southeast United States. Jay has performed alongside various artists and bands on small to large stages. Jay currently resides in Tampa, Florida where he is a member of local band and fan favorite, The Beatdown Band. He continues to perform a smooth, captivating blend of jazz, soul, R&B, gospel and blues-influenced music for diverse audiences.
